1 Dead in 2-Vehicle Crash on Marinette Avenue in Tulare County
TULARE COUNTY, CA (December 16, 2024) — A woman died in a 2-car accident on Marinette Avenue at Highway 65 Saturday night.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash report around 7:00 p.m. Upon arriving, investigators learned that an eastbound driver of a Chevrolet Silverado ran a stop sign. Subsequently, the Silverado collided with a southbound Chevy Deluxe, killing the female passenger in the Deluxe.
Officials did not release her name.
Moments after the crash, paramedics arrived and transported the fatal victim’s driver to a hospital with moderate injuries. The Chevrolet Silverado driver was unharmed.
After a preliminary investigation, authorities determined that neither alcohol nor drugs factored into the cause. However, if anyone can help with this case, call the CHP officers.
