Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries after Hit by Pickup Truck on Camino Del Rio West in Midway District

 
MIDWAY DISTRICT, CA (October 7, 2024) – A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident on Camino Del Rio West in Midway District early Friday morning on October 4.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, a 65-year-old man was driving a white Ford F-250 northbound in the 3800 block of Camino Del Rio West when he hit the female pedestrian around 3:25 a.m.
 
The unidentified woman, who was not in a marked crosswalk, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck stayed on the scene and cooperated with SDPD Traffic Division investigators.
