SHERMAN OAKS, CA (September 20, 2024) — A woman sustained serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Ventura Boulevard near Costello Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the hit-and-run happened on September 6 around 5:54 p.m. Surveillance footage captured a black sedan turning left and hitting a 63-year-old woman crossing. Subsequently, the vehicle stopped a few feet ahead, but the driver did not exit to help the woman or wait for authorities to identify him or herself.
