Woman Hospitalized, Amazon Delivery Truck, Vehicles Collide on 210 Freeway in Monrovia

 
MONROVIA, CA (June 5, 2023) — A woman suffered serious injuries after her Amazon delivery truck and several cars crashed on the 210 Freeway at Myrtle Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a female driver of an Amazon delivery truck crashed into a side wall. The woman was ejected onto the carpool lane and suffered major injuries.
 
Due to the debris, two vehicles collided with each other.
 
Moments later, paramedics responded to the scene and took the Amazon driver to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Reports did not specify the conditions of the other drivers.
 
As a result of the incident, a tow truck was dispatched to the highway to recover some of the packages, which were transported to a local Amazon fulfillment center.
