One Hospitalized After Crash at South Street and Highway 273 in Anderson

 
ANDERSON, CA (November 16, 2021) — A woman suffered injuries in a car crash at the South Street and Highway 273 intersection in Anderson.
 
The Wednesday evening collision took place before 7:00 p.m. based on reports from the Anderson police. An initial investigation revealed that the car the woman was operating crashed into a utility trailer, leaving her trapped inside.
 
The police said the woman was unresponsive when they arrived at the scene. This prompted the responding officers to break the car’s window to pull her out of the vehicle. They subsequently checked for signs of life and began CPR.
 
Medical responders took the woman in unknown condition to Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Meanhwile, two passengers who were inside the utility truck that was attached to the trailer at the time of the crash did not report any injury.
