Pedestrian Wearing Dark Clothing Dies after Struck by Car on Highway 12 in Lodi Area

 
LODI, CA (November 4, 2024) – A woman was hit and killed by a car on Highway 12 in the Lodi area Sunday evening on November 3.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:15 p.m. at Westgate Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was wearing a dark clothing in a dark part of the road when she was struck by a vehicle.
 
The impact caused the woman fatal injuries and she died at the scene. She was not yet identified.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with officers.
