LA CRESCENTA, CA (January 3, 2023) — A woman was hit and killed by a bus near Foothill Boulevard and Dunsmore Avenue Sunday morning.
 
According to Glendale police officers, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 10:00 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, an MTA bus struck a woman, trapping her underneath.
 
Responding Glendale Fire Department officials arrived but were unable to assist the woman. From there, they called a heavy-duty tow truck to assist with the situation and to haul the bus off the road. However, despite attempts of saving the woman, she died later from her injuries.
 
The woman’s identity is unavailable at this time, but investigators plan to seek the details and liabilities of this crash. If any witnesses have information, please reach out to the Glendale Police.
