FRESNO, CA (October 24, 2022) — A woman died in a pedestrian crash on Bryan Avenue at Fairmont Avenue Friday.
 
According to Fresno Police, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 11:45 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman near the intersection. Officers arrived shortly after and found the female pedestrian, described to be in her 40s, lying on the road.
 
Paramedics brought her to a hospital immediately after where she later died. As for the driver, he or she stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
