SAN JOSE, CA (August 20, 2024) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident at Snell Avenue and Capitol Expressway early Monday.
 
According to the San Jose Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident happened Monday morning. For an unknown reason, a driver struck a woman near the intersection. Subsequently, emergency personnel responded and transported her to a hospital where she died.
 
After the crash, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officials have not released the woman’s name or identified the cause of the accident. However, the crash remains under investigation.
