Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 8, 2022) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Pico Boulevard near Wilton Place on Saturday.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run occurred around 2:20 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of a white two-door Nissan Altima heading eastbound on Pico Boulevard left the scene after hitting a woman in a marked crosswalk.
 
The driver stopped briefly after the impact, but drove away.
 
Shortly after, Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics reached the scene and pronounced the victim deceased on arrival. Officers have yet to release her name to the public.
