Rollover Crash on Highway 120 in Groveland Injures Two People and Kills Dog

 
GROVELAND, CA (May 29, 2024)Vernan Gragg and Jane Gragg were injured in a rollover accident in the Groveland area of Tuolumne County Thursday morning on May 23.
 
The accident happened around 9:15 a.m. on Highway 120, just east of the Old Priest Grade. According to the California Highway Patrol, the two were traveling westbound on the highway in a 2015 GMC 2500 when the crash occurred.
 
The pickup truck reportedly left the roadway and struck a power pole. It then overturned several times down an embankment.
 
Vernan was the driver of the car. Jane was his passenger. Both were 71 years old from Mokelumne Hill. The two sustained minor injuries and were treated at Adventist Health Sonora.
 
Sadly, their dog died at the scene.
 
Alcohol or drugs did not play a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
