Venjae Moore Charged, Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Mooney Boulevard and Tulare Avenue

 
VISALIA, CA (March 2, 2023) — Venjae Moore faces charges in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Mooney Boulevard and Tulare Avenue.
 
According to Visalia Police Department officers, a driver left the scene of a crash after hitting a pedestrian. Upon arriving, police found the victim with unknown injuries; although, officials expect the pedestrian to recover just fine.
 
Moments after the crash, Visalia police received a call from a bystander in the area to report that they were following the driver who had left. After receiving information on the driver’s location, police were able to arrest Venjae Moore.
 
Shortly after, officers brought Moore to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility, charging the 28-year-old with felony hit-and-run.
 
Authorities provided no other information on the accident.
