Head-On Crash on Highway 126 in Fillmore Leaves 2 People Dead
FILLMORE, CA (June 30, 2024) – Two women were killed in a head-on accident on Highway 126 in Fillmore Friday evening on June 28.
The fatal accident happened just before 7:00 p.m. along a rural portion of the eastbound highway at Clay Street. According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.
First responders found a total of six people involved in the crash.
Two female occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identified were not immediately available.
Paramedics took the other four people to local hospitals with unspecified injuries.
As of Saturday morning, no one had been cited or arrested. An investigation into this crash still ongoing.
