Three Vehicles Collide on 91 Freeway in Yorba Linda Leaving 2 People Dead

 
YORBA LINDA, CA (February 28, 2025) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 91 Freeway in Yorba Linda early Wednesday morning on February 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:00 a.m. at Coal Canyon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least three cars collided on the freeway, one of burst burst into flames in the middle lanes.
 
The people were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities were not immediately available.
 
CHP officials closed all lanes of the 91 Freeway for several hours while they investigated the cause of the crash.
