Two-Vehicle Accident on 10 Freeway in Desert Hot Springs, 2 Injured

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (August 23, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries in a fiery two-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Desert Hot Springs Sunday night.
 
The accident happened around 6:52 p.m. on August 22, just east of North Indian Canyon Drive. According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, two cars collided on the westbound freeway for unknown reasons.
 
Both vehicles were on fire when firefighters arrived at the scene, the department reported. Two people both suffered moderate injuries.
 
Paramedics transported the patients to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
