Car Crashes into Tree on Seabright Avenue in Santa Cruz Leaving Driver and Passenger in Critical Condition

 
SANTA CRUZ, CA (November 27, 2024) – Two people were critically injured in a car accident on Seabright Avenue in Santa Cruz Tuesday afternoon on November 26.
 
According to the Santa Cruz Police Department, a man was driving a truck with a female passenger when for unknown reasons, the car accelerated and crashed into a nearby tree.
 
As a result of the crash, both the driver and the passenger suffered severe injuries. They were rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
 
It is unclear at this time if drugs or alcohol played a factor in this crash. Further investigation is underway.
