Two-Vehicle Accident on Stoddard Wells Road in Apple Valley Sends 3 People to Hospital with Major Injuries

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (April 15, 2024) – Three people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident at Stoddard Wells Road and Outer Highway 15 in Apple Valley late Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:17 a.m. on April 8. According to Apple Valley Police Department, a gray Ford F-150 and a Volvo tractor-trailer collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
First responders located the semi with front-end damage on the driver’s side and the pickup truck on the dirt shoulder of the northbound 15 Freeway.
 
Three people suffered serious injuries from the crash, one of them was trapped in the wreckage.
 
All three patients were then airlifted to out-of-area trauma centers for treatment.
 
At this time, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
