Separate Motocross Accidents Reported on Highway 371 in Anza
ANZA, CA (June 16, 2021) – Three riders suffered injuries in separate motocross accidents at Cahuilla Creek Motocross in the 50100 block of Highway 371 on June 9.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 11:25 AM.
Based on a report, a rider was making a jump at a practice ride at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he crashed into another rider. Then, officials also reported a second unrelated crash.
As a result, authorities said three people were hurt in the incidents. One rider from the first crash suffered a broken clavicle. Then, the second rider sustained serious back injuries with open wounds to his back. In addition, the rider from the second crash injured his wrist. Paramedics airlifted one of the victims to the hospital for treatment. Crews transported another victim by ground ambulance, while the third victim did not require hospitalization.
At this point, these motocross accidents at Cahuilla Creek Motocross are still under investigation.
