Six Vehicles Collide on 215 Freeway in Perris Leaves 3 People Injured

 
PERRIS, CA (April 15, 2024) – Three people were injured in a six-vehicle accident on 215 Freeway in Perris Monday afternoon on April 8.
 
The accident happened around 4:12 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 74. According to the California Highway Patrol, six vehicles collided along the southbound freeway, causing one car to overturn.
 
Riverside County Fire Department crews responded and found the occupant of the overturned car trapped, requiring firefighters to deploy industrial equipment to free the victim, who suffered minor to moderate injuries.
 
Two other people also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Paramedics took all injured patients to a regional trauma center for proper treatment.
 
The crash also caused significant damage to three of the six vehicles.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is under investigation.
