BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 23, 2024) — Shelli Fuller died when a car struck her near Olive Drive and Knudsen Drive.
 
According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, the deadly pedestrian accident happened in late August. Under unclear circumstances, multiple parties were involved in an altercation near Olive Drive and Knudsen Drive. Subsequently, 38-year-old Shelli Janae Fuller attempted to intervene. However, a driver struck her in the roadway.
 
Moments later, Bakersfield Police and paramedics responded, taking her to Kern Medical where she died on September 1.
