Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 16 in Amador County Leaves 7 People Hurt
AMADOR COUNTY, CA (January 16, 2024) – Seven people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 16 in Amador County Tuesday evening on January 9.
The accident happened around 8:38 p.m. near Willow Creek Road. According to the Amador Fire Department, two vehicles collided along the highway for unknown reasons.
As a result of the crash, seven people were injured, one of them suffered moderate injuries and the rest had minor injuries. One of the patients is a child.
Paramedics took two of the injured patients to a hospital for further treatment.
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
