BRENTWOOD, CA (May 13, 2024) – Seven people were injured in a head-on accident on Marsh Creek Road in Brentwood Friday evening on May 10.
 
According to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, two vehicles collided head-on around 7:40 p.m. in the 23000 block of Marsh Creek Road.
 
Authorities said that seven people were hurt in the crash. Three of the victims have critical injuries, two have moderate injuries and two only minor injuries.
 
Five ambulances and two helicopters responded to the scene. At least one victim was airlifted to a hospital.
 
It is unknown what led to the crash. The exact cause and factors involved are still under investigation.
