Two Motorcycles Collide on Carmel Valley Road in Monterey County Killing One Rider

 
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (December 16, 2024) – Sergio Martinez Ramirez was killed in a motorcycle accident in Monterey County Saturday evening on December 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on Carmel Valley Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, two motorcycles collided for unknown reasons.
 
Ramirez was ejected from his motorcycle and he died at the scene. He was 30 years old.
 
The other motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was taken to Natividad Medical Center.
 
The cause of the crash is under investigation. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors.
