Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Two Hit-and-Run Drivers in Granada Hills
GRANADA HILLS, CA (October 22, 2024) – Sebastian Brown was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Granada Hills Thursday evening on October 17.
The fatal crash happened around 9:50 p.m. at Devonshire Street and Etiwanda Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Brown was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Devonshire from Etiwanda at a high rate of speed. As he approached Louise Avenue, he failed to stop for a red tri-light and collided with a white SUV.
The impact ejected Brown onto westbound lanes of traffic on Devonshire. A white sedan then struck him while he was lying on the street.
Both drivers did not stop after the crash.
Brown suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 21 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The city of Los Angeles offered a standing reward of up to $50,000 for information that helps solve this case.
