Rose Cazares, Officer Injured in 2-Car Crash at Avenue 412 and Road 136

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (October 21, 2024)Rose Cazares and a deputy suffered major injuries in a two-car accident at Avenue 412 and Road 136.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. California Highway Patrol said that a Tulare County Sheriff’s deputy was traveling southbound on Road 136 in a Ford Explorer patrol car. Subsequently, the patrol vehicle collided with a westbound Toyota Corolla, driven by Rose Cazares, of Orosi.
 
Soon after, officers and paramedics responded to the scene and transported both patients to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
 
During the investigation, authorities learned that stop signs control Road 136 while they do not for Avenue 412. Alcohol and drugs did not factor into this crash, but authorities will look further into the details.
