Rosalva Fuentes Struck and Killed by Car on La Mesa Road [Victorville, CA]

63-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Sedan in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (October 3, 2024) – Rosalva Fuentes was struck and killed in Victorville Sunday evening on September 29.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:13 p.m. in the area of La Mesa Road and Evelyn Court. According to the Victorville Police Department, a blue Kia Optima struck Fuentes in unclear circumstances.
 
The impact caused Fuentes major injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, Fuentes did not survive and was declared dead. She was a 63-year-old Victorville resident.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Kia stayed on scene and cooperated with deputies.
 
La Mesa Road between Topaz Road and Mesa Linda Avenue was closed for several hours for the investigation.
