Roger Norris Dies, Monica Granger Detained in Head-On Motorcycle Crash on Valley Boulevard near Riverside Avenue
RIALTO, CA (June 14, 2024) — Roger Norris died in a head-on motorcycle accident on Valley Boulevard near Riverside Avenue.
According to reports, the fatal head-on crash happened around 5:32 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, 48-year-old Monica Granger allowed her westbound Toyota Highlander to cross the center median. Subsequently, her Toyota collided head-on with an eastbound motorcycle.
Soon after, paramedics responded and took the severely injured Norris to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he died less than half an hour later. Authorities described him as a 59-year-old from La Verne.
Following the crash, officers arrested Granger and booked her into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. Alcohol and drugs did not factor into the collision. However, an investigation should confirm the details.
