Roberto Flores Dies in 2-Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Calgrove Boulevard

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (August 19, 2024) — Roberto Flores died in a two-car accident on the 5 Freeway near Calgrove Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, two vehicles, including a big rig, collided on the northbound lanes near Calgrove Boulevard.
 
Subsequently, officers responded to the scene to assess the crash. Paramedics brought one victim to a hospital in an unknown condition and pronounced the other victim deceased at the scene. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the victim as 24-year-old Flores.
 
At this time, officers have not said what caused the crash. However, they are looking into this accident further.
