35-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Car in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (July 23, 2024) – Roberta Araiza was hit and killed by a car in Hesperia Monday morning on July 22.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:23 a.m. at Main Street and Maple Avenue. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a 2023 Kia Forte struck Araiza at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
The impact caused Araiza fatal injuries and she died at the scene. She was 35 years old. Her city of residence was unknown.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with officers.
