Person in Wheelchair Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (January 16, 2023) — A person in a wheelchair was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Lankershim Boulevard near Blythe Street.
According to Los Angeles police, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened around 6:05 p.m. on January 1. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a person in a wheelchair outside a marked crosswalk. The driver did not stop and, instead, left the scene of the crash.
The unidentified victim suffered severe injuries, and now police need the public’s help to identify the hit-and-run driver.
