Pedestrian Suffers Seriously Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Sports Arena Boulevard in Midway District

 
MIDWAY DISTRICT, CA (February 5, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Sports Arena Boulevard in Midway District Tuesday morning on February 4.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, a white four-door sedan was traveling westbound when it struck the 53-year-old pedestrian who was walking in a crosswalk in the 3500 block of Sports Arena Boulevard around 7:51 a.m.
 
After striking the victim, the driver of the sedan fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
The pedestrian suffered a fractured pelvis from the crash. Paramedics took them to a hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, the driver remains at large. An investigation is underway.
