Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car on Ramon Expressway in San Jacinto

 
SAN JACINTO, CA (September 30, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by two cars on Ramona Expressway near Lyon Avenue.
 
According to reports, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 8:35 p.m. on September 20. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a pedestrian walking across the traffic lanes. Subsequently, a second driver struck the victim before pulling over.
 
After the crash, both drivers stayed and cooperated with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The victim, however, passed away in the accident. Officials have withheld the person’s name pending notification of next of kin.
 
Police said alcohol did not factor into the accident, but they are looking into the crash further.
