HAYWARD, CA (February 12, 2025) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car at Tennyson Road and Calaroga Avenue.
 
According to Hayward Police officers, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:35 a.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a driver of an SUV lost control. Subsequently, dash cam footage captured the SUV careering off the left lane and plowing into several trees in a high-speed manner. Subsequently, the SUV stopped.
 
Moments later, Hayward Police responded and confirmed that the pedestrian suffered unknown injuries. The driver also required medical attention.
