Girl Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Folsom Boulevard in Rosemont
ROSEMONT, CA (December 18, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car at Folsom Boulevard at Manlove Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened around 4:00 p.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, two young girls decided to cross the intersection against a Do Not Cross signal. Subsequently, a driver in an eastbound Ford Escape struck one of the girls in the road.
Moments later, paramedics took the girl to a hospital with major injuries. The driver of the Ford Escape stayed at the scene and was unharmed.

Pedestrians must remember to clear the road before crossing. Always follow traffic lights and signs and never attempt to enter oncoming traffic. Drivers must also slow down and prepare for unforeseen circumstances.
