Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley
APPLE VALLEY, CA (October 28, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car on Apple Valley Road near Mandan Road.
According to reports, the pedestrian accident happened on October 24 around 6:55 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck the 24-year-old male pedestrian in the town of Apple Valley. Subsequently, authorities responded to find the victim and a white Mitsubishi SUV with major front-end damage.
Investigators learned that the driver did not see the man due to dark road conditions. Another witness reported seeing the man operating a motorcycle before the accident, but sheriff’s officials did not confirm this account.
After the wreck, paramedics airlifted the patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment, and the driver stayed at the scene for the investigation.
