Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Ethanac Road in Menifee
MENIFEE, CA (November 19, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit by two cars near Ethanac Road and Sherman Road.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:00 p.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, an SUV driver drifted toward the shoulder of Ethanac Road and struck a female pedestrian. Upon impact, the woman was sent to the other side of the street where another vehicle struck her.
Both drivers left the scene. However, Good Samaritans came to the woman’s aid and called 911. Paramedics responded shortly thereafter and brought her to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have not identified if drugs or alcohol factored into the cause. If anyone could help the Department’s Traffic Unit identify the drivers involved, call 951-723-1500.
