Two-Vehicle Accident on Pines to Palms Highway in Pinyon Pines Sends 3 People to Hospital

 
PINYON PINES, CA (October 31, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on Palms to Pines Highway in Pinyon Pines area on Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 6:56 p.m. on October 29, in the 71000 block of the Palms to Pines Highway (74) near milepost 85, just below the Vista Point and east of Pinyon. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
The crash caused major damage on both vehicles.
 
Firefighters worked with hydraulic tools to free a seriously injured patient who was then airlifted to a hospital.
 
Ground ambulances transported two other people to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
