DUI Crash Involving Two Vehicles on Telegraph Canyon Road in Chula Vista Leaves One Driver in Critical Condition

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (July 15, 2024) – One person was seriously injured in a suspected DUI crash at Telegraph Canyon Road and Paseo Ladera in Chula Vista early Friday morning.
 
The crash hsppened around 3:00 a.m. on July 12. According to the Chula Vista Police Department, two vehicles collided at the intersection.
 
Responding officers found one of the drivers trapped inside the vehicle. Fire crews were able to extricate them and took that driver to a local hospital in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the other driver, a 19-year-old National City man, sustained minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
