Two Sedans Collide on Highway 99 in Visalia Killing At Least One Person

 
VISALIA, CA (August 12, 2024) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 99 in Visalia Sunday evening on August 11.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:08 p.m. at the J Street off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white sedan and a blue Hyundai sedan collided for unknown reasons.
 
First responders pronounced at least one person dead at the scene. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Coroner withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
 
No other information available. The exact cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
