Two Vehicles Collide on 10 Freeway in Indio Killing One and Injuring Two Others

 
INDIO, CA (July 15, 2024) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Indio early Sunday morning on July 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:40 a.m. at Monroe Street. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
One person suffered fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, a ground ambulance took two other people to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
