Two Cars Collide on 280 Freeway in Daly City Killing One Person
DALY CITY, CA (August 18, 2024) – One person died in a two-car accident on 280 Freeway in Daly City Wednesday morning on August 14.
The fatal accident happened around 8:05 a.m. at the John Daly Boulevard on-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, two cars collided along the southbound freeway for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the cars to overturn.
First responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was withheld pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No other information available at this time. The cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
