Rollover Crash near Wheeler Ridge and Herring Roads Ends in Fatality

 
ARVIN, CA (January 16, 2023) – At least one person died in a rollover accident near Wheeler Ridge Road and Herring Road on Saturday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:51 p.m. on January 14. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had rolled over at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
Two people were out of the vehicle and they were searching for one other person, CHP officials said.
 
Sadly, that other person was ejected and died at the scene. The coroner’s office will release the victim’s identity at a later time.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
