Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Several Vehicles on Sweetwater Road in Spring Valley

 
SPRING VALLEY, CA (January 22, 2024) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on Sweetwater Road in Spring Valley Sunday morning on January 21.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:10 a.m. at the intersection with Blossom Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the area when several vehicles struck them.
 
Deputies responded and performed CPR on the victim, who had obvious signs of trauma.
 
Sadly, the pedestrian died before they could be taken to a hospital.
 
It is unclear if the involved drivers stayed after the crash. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the fatality.
