Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 31, 2022) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino early Sunday morning, October 30.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:57 a.m. just north of Baseline Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was either walking or standing along the northbound freeway when a vehicle struck them.
 
As a result, the unidentified pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with officers. They were not injured.
 
This fatality is still under investigation. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
