Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway in Colton Ends in Fatality
COLTON, CA (January 19, 2025) – At least one person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Colton Friday night on January 17.
The fatal accident happened around 6:11 p.m. at North Pepper Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a white Chevrolet Suburban, a blue Toyota Camry, a white Ford and another vehicle collided along the eastbound freeway.
One the vehicles was reportedly traveling recklessly when it collided into two other vehicles.
The impact caused one of the vehicles to overturn on its side.
First responders confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
At this time, it was unclear if there are other injuries sustained in the crash.
The exact cause and factors involved are still under investigation.
