Industrial Accident on 30th Street in Oakland Turns Deadly

 
OAKLAND, CA (January 10, 2025) – One person was killed in an industrial accident on 30th Street in Oakland Thursday morning on January 9.
 
According to the Oakland Police Department, the work-related accident happened shortly before 11:00 a.m. in the 400 block of 30th Street.
 
When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive individual who had major injuries.
 
Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the person dead.
 
It is still unclear what type of workplace this is. However, there is construction happening at this address in the Pill Hill neighborhood.
 
The individual who was killed has not been identified.
 
Further investigation is underway.
