Fatal Broadside Crash on Highway 12 in San Joaquin County Involves Big Rig and Sedan

 
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (April 6, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a broadside accident on Highway 12 near the Terminous area on Friday night.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:32 p.m. on April 1 near the Tower Park Bridge. According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, a small sedan was traveling on the right shoulder when it spun out in front a semi towing a Summit Crane big rig. The semi then broadsided the sedan.
 
As a result, at least one person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately known.
