Rollover Accident on 15 Freeway in San Diego Sends at Least 1 Person to Hospital

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 26, 2022) – One person was injured in a rollover accident on 15 Freeway in San Diego on Tuesday afternoon, May 24.
 
The accident happened around 12:40 p.m. near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. CHP officials said a Nissan truck had overturned along the northbound lanes of the freeway. The crash may have been caused by a small vehicle attempting to cross several lanes of traffic before hitting the truck and causing it to roll.
 
Emergency crews responded and took at least one person to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
