Train Involved in Accident on Washington Street in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 22, 2021) – One person was hurt in a train accident on Washington Street on February 16.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Edison Highway at approximately 10:22 PM.
Based on a report, the victim’s car left the road and entered the tracks. Subsequently, an oncoming train struck it.
As a result, the man who was driving the car suffered minor injuries in the incident. Immediately, emergency crews transported the victim to Kern Medical for treatment.
