Early Morning Hit-and-Run Crash on Tampa Avenue in Tarzana Sends Speeding Driver to Hospital

 
TARZANA, CA (December 16, 2024) – One person was hospitalized in a hit-and-run crash at Tampa Avenue and Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana early Saturday morning.
 
The crash happened around 3:45 a.m. on December 14. according to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers attempted to pull over the Lamborghini for speeding on the northbound Hollywood 101 Freeway near Barham Boulevard. They terminated the pursuit around 3:36 a.m. when they were notified that the luxury SUV collided with a Dodge Durango.
 
The driver of the Durango fled the scene before authorities arrived.
 
Responding paramedics took the driver of the Lamborghini to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
An investigation is ongoing.
